Another way is to set NEWEST_USER to false by using 'core.index_modify_page_title' event and assign a new newest user template variable.
For example PREFIX_NEWEST_USER or something else.
And then use <!-- EVENT index_body_stat_blocks_after --> to add a new statistics block.
