I'm new on here, because I have been running phpBB successfully quite some time in the past and since early this year I created a new environment.
The issue (see attachment): I can's see 'attached' pictures with posts anymore and also other files aren't available for download.
Additional information that might be related:
1> About 3 weeks ago, my server drive started failing (dying), after a respectable 72.000 hours of operation without issue. I replaced the drive with a same size SSD.
2> I had to reconfigure a lot of the environment, even though I had backups.
3> I was able, after some problems, to restore a backup of my board successfully... as it seemed.
4> In the mean time an update for phpBB became available and I updated it to the latest edition without problems.
Except now attachments to posts can't be accessed like before: .jpg files were always included in the post (visibly) when attached, and .kmz (Google Earth data) would be downloadable (but appear to be missing, although all files in de files folder are copied/restored normally)
I thought it might have to do with a sort of encryption or hash in the storage of attachments in the files folder, so I edited the post and re-uploaded the attachments, but they remain missing when freshly re-uploading.
The error log is empty, so I don;t get any clues from over there.
* Is this a version issue (bug), is this a (hashed?) phpBB file storage problem, a database (configuration) error or am i missing something?
